2-FOR-1 GENERAL ADMISSION, RENEGADE ENDURO, COSTUME CONTEST AND TRUNK OR TREATING SATURDAY NIGHT AT CAR
The entry-level Renegade class has been busy this week going to their local sponsors and friends in search of getting laps sponsored for Saturday nights Enduro at Central Arizona Raceway. As of Thursday, all 100 laps have been sponsored. The laps were being sold for $20 and every bit of it goes back into the purse. With a total purse reaching $4,000 dollars, the winners share for the feature will be about $1,200 dollars depending on how many cars start the main and when the madness finally ends. The AMA Mod Lites have been invited to run a non-points fun event and join the festivities Saturday night. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes, for trunk-or-treating down the front stretch, as all drivers will be handing out candy to the children. Plus, Central Arizona Raceway has a couple awesome prizes in store for the best costumes! All this is happening, along with 2-for-1 admission Saturday night at Central Arizona Raceway.
The Renegade Enduro continues to draw interest as more and more money has been added to the purse for the evening. 2013 Central Arizona Raceway Renegade Champion, Don Berner is still seeking his first win at CAR, and with a little patience and a lot of luck, it could be his night Saturday night. ”The Enduro is going to take a lot of luck, and a little patience because it is a long race, and we only throw yellow flags for a car and driver facing traffic, or other safety concerns. Other than that, the race is a free-for-all,” Promoter Chad Ayers stated. The Soboskis will be back in action and that does include the “Big Woody” Station Wagon. ”If this goes as well as it is looking, we will most definitely have a couple of these in 2014,” Ayers mentioned.
The Mod Lites will bring a group of cars to have fun and get some seat time including Casa Grande driver Ryan Sundblom. Also peeking interest in attending are Eric Muse, Alli and Austin Zeppin, Chaz Baca Jr and several more.
The Renegade Enduro drivers will be doing the co-pilot program as well.
With racing, trunk-or-treating, a costume contest for the kids, and 2-for-1 General Admission, Central Arizona Raceway is the place to be!
