Tom Berry Jr makes waves in Central Arizona's Winter Nationals
Central Arizona Raceway's IMCA.tv Winter Nationals attracted some of the best modified wheelmen in the business, and Marshalltown, Iowa's Tom Berry Jr. was in on the action, taking part in four nights of competition spanning January 21-24 with four A-Main starts to show for. In fact, Berry concluded his Arizona trek with back-to-back top-ten appearances occurring in the final two nights of action, finishing sixth and fourth, respectively. Adding to Berry's overall performance, his eventual fourth-place finish commenced from row eight, earning his way into the evening's 20-lap main via B-Main triumph.
Nearly 100 entries made the call to Casa Grande, Arizona - 91 to be exact - with states all across the contiguous 48 represented. To learn more about Central Arizona Raceway, fans should visit the facility online at www.centralazraceway.com.
